Submissions invited – Re-entering the National Injury Insurance Scheme in Queensland after accepting treatment, care and support damages

You are invited to have your say on regulating re-entry to the National Injury Insurance Scheme (NIIS) in Queensland after accepting treatment, care and support damages.

This Consultation Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) considers the benefits, costs and issues associated with regulating a preclusion period and conditions under which a seriously injured person may re-enter the NIIS in Queensland, after opting out to take a lump sum damages payment for their lifetime treatment, care and support needs.
