Consultation: Subordinate legislation to support the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017

A number of provisions of the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017 (The Act) delegate to regulations to provide further details about the licensing scheme. The Queensland Government sought feedback to inform the development of these regulations. Two consultation papers were prepared to assist feedback.

  • Consultation Paper 1 presents treatments for more operational elements underpinning the scheme.
  • Consultation Paper 2 discusses scoping treatments to help clarify the scope of the licensing scheme. Please note that the Queensland Parliament has endorsed a broad scheme applying to all industry sectors and occupations. Regulations are intended to help clarify the scope for limited and specific arrangements that are not commonly understood to be labour hire.

Submissions closed on Friday 2 February 2018.
